Are the expiry dates exact?
No — they are estimates of typical shelf life, so you never have to type a date. If one looks wrong, open the item and adjust the date; moving an item between fridge and freezer recalculates it automatically.
How do household invites work?
Create a household in the app and share its invite code. Everyone who joins sees the same live inventory, locations, and grocery list on their own phone. Anyone in the household can add, use up, or move items.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Profile → Delete account. It deletes your profile and sign-in, your recipes and recipe photos, and any household where you are the only member. Households you share with other people keep their data — you are simply removed.
How are AI scans metered?
Receipt and photo scans are counted per month, and ten a month are free. Everything you do by hand — search, barcodes, lists, households — is free with no counting at all.
